India's top 100 CIOs and CTOs converge at Bangalore

5th C-Change event to discuss ideas for creating an agile enterprise 

Unique technology platform from CyberMedia's CIOL, Dataquest 

Bangalore February 21, 2008

India's IT capital, Bangalore, will play host to over top 100 Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) as they brainstorm over the next 3 days on how to create an agile organisation using Information Technology. 

The participants, from a range of manufacturing, technology and services organisations, will also learn about the role of emerging technologies from eminent technology and brand building experts like Ajit Balakrishnan, CEO of Rediff.com; David Nishball, President, Airtel Enterprise Services; R. Sridhar, CEO of Brand-Comm, Suresh Menon, Country Business Manager, HP and Kaushik Bagchi, Country Manager (Information Management), IBM India.

"C-Change", the 5th annual event for the CIOs has been put together by CyberMedia's technology portal CIOL and its flagship technology publication Dataquest. In the first leg of the program the participating CIOs actively contributed to an online forum, over the last 6 weeks, by sharing best practices and ideas for using technology to create an agile enterprise. 

"At the 2008 C-Change event, Top 100 CIOs and CTOs will share fast-evolving business paradigms to create an agile enterprise using technology", says E Abraham Mathew, President of CIOL. 

The 100 participants will deliberate as part of four distinct teams led by Arun Gupta of Shoppers Stop, Prince Azariah of MRF, Venkat Iyer from Pfizer and Rajesh Uppal from Maruti Udyog. 

The CIOs of leading companies participating in C-Change will represent Ambuja Cements, Ashok Leyland, Bajaj Electricals, Britannia, Genpact, Lanco Infratech, Mahindra & Mahindra, Moser Baer, Nokia Otis Elevators, Pfizer, Titan and Unitech.

The C-Change event is being supported by leading technology providers like Airtel, IBM, Business Objects, Golden Gate Software and Serena Software.
