Anil R, Sr. Vice President - CIOL, CyberMedia

Anil R, Senior Vice President, CyberMedia India Online Ltd., is the business unit head for online business. He has nearly two decades of experience, 17 out of which is in CyberMedia. Starting his career with IDC (India), Anil moved on to magazine ad-sales, editorial and event sales at the regional level and at National level for all CyberMedia print brands before taking up the current responsibility.


Asim Raina, Sr. Vice President - Sales & Marketing, ICT publications

Asim Raina heads Sales and Marketing for all ICT publications of CyberMedia in India. In the past, he has worked in both editorial as well as sales functions. An expert on the IT Channel market, he created and conceptualised the launch of the four editions of The DQ Week at CyberMedia.

A Delhi University graduate, Asim joined CyberMedia over two decades ago.


E Abraham Mathew, President, Online and Life Sciences Group

E Abraham Mathew is President in-charge of Online, Life Sciences business and the Singapore operations of CyberMedia. He has 23 years of experience in the IT and media industries. He is an MBA by qualification.


Hoshie Ghaswalla, Managing Director, Global Services & President, CyberMedia Services

Hoshie Ghaswalla is Managing Director, Global Services and President, CyberMedia Services. He has been associated with CyberMedia for over two decades. In his earlier roles at CyberMedia, Hoshie provided leadership to multiple functions and businesses. Between 1996 & 1999 Hoshie was with Mid-Day Multimedia and in his capacity as AGM–New Media & Niche Publishing, he was responsible for launch of one of the first websites from India and a publication that catered to the advertising and media industry. Hoshie is a Commerce graduate from Mumbai University and has attended a course in Management from the St. Xavier’s Institute of Management, Mumbai.


Ibrahim Ahmad, Group Editor, Business Magazines Group

Ibrahim Ahmad, the Group Editor, Business Magazines Group heads 5 publications - DATAQUEST, Voice&Data, DQ Week, DQ Channels and Voice&Data Connect. During his leadership DATAQUEST and Voice&Data took up the evangelists role by bringing various industry stakeholders together for DQ CIO Series conferences and Voice&Data TopView panel discussions. These publications championed industry issues like Bandwidth and Project W for opening up and promoting Wi-Fi.

Ibrahim, an Economics graduate and an MBA from AMU Aligarh is in the business journalism for the last 18 years.


Kapil Dev Singh, Sr. Vice President and Country Manager, IDC (India)

Kapil Dev Singh, Sr. Vice-President and Country Manager, IDC (India) Ltd. is responsible for the management and business operations of IDC (India). Kapil has close to 15 years of work experience of which, 13 years is into market research & advisory.

He holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and has done Masters in Business Administration (Marketing) both from Calcutta University. He is a certified Six Sigma ‘Green Belt’ quality professional and a lead auditor for ISO 9001: 2000 requirements. He believes in continual improvement through a systematic approach and has keen interest in strategic change, industry analysis and teaching.


Krishna Kumar, Founding Editor, DARE & CIO, CyberMedia

Krishna Kumar joined CyberMedia in 1996 after stints at the National Dairy Development Board and Venkateshwara Hatcheries ltd., where he was involved in project management and corporate strategy functions. An Engineer and an MBA by training, at CyberMedia he was initially instrumental in setting up India’s first vendor neutral IT products testing facility – Cybermedia Labs. Subsequently, he was the Editor of PCQuest and Living Digital. Currently, he is the founding editor for DARE, India’s first magazine on entrepreneurship and is also the CIO for the group. Narayanan Suresh, Group Editor, Life Sciences Group

Suresh, the Group Editor (Senior VP) of the Life Sciences Group handles the India and Singapore editions of BioSpectrum as a profit center. Suresh is involved in evangelising biotechnology in the region as a speaker at various industry meetings and educational institutions.

Prior to joining CyberMedia in 1997, Suresh was The Times of India’s first and only exclusive Science & Technology correspondent based in New Delhi. He has extensively chronicled India’s rising technology prowess.

A Masters in Physics and India’s one of the leading technology analyst, he is also a consulting editor for DATAQUEST and Voice & Data.


Pankaj Nath, Sr. Vice President, CyberMedia

Pankaj Nath, Sr. Vice President, CyberMedia India Limited heads CyberMedia Events & CyberMedia Digital Limited. He has over 18 years of professional experience in IT, Media, Media Services and Academics.


Prasanto Kumar Roy, President & Chief Editor, ICT Publishing Group

Prasanto Kumar Roy heads ten IT and telecom publications which includes both B2B and consumer.

A technology journalist and analyst for two decades, Roy, 41, studied physics at Delhi’s St Stephen’s College. He joined CyberMedia in 1990, and was responsible for pioneering projects such as Asia's first cover-mounted CDs, and the first publication-run product testing processes and labs.

He is deeply interested and involved with mobile technology and products, and on green technologies, driving CyberMedia’s three-year green evangelization program beginning 2008.

He lectures on a variety of technology and media related subjects.


Ram Capoor, President and CEO, Content Matrix, New York

Ram Capoor’s background uniquely combines both "Main Street" and "Wall Street" skills. He brings to Content Matrix experience as an entrepreneur and operator along with more than 20 years experience in a broad spectrum of arenas including mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, investment banking, asset management, and corporate development. Much of his experience was gained at leading firms such as Morgan Stanley, UBS, and Deloitte. A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Capoor received his MBA from the Fuqua School at Duke University.
